A wiec tak. Aktualizacja wyglada nastepujaco:
1. Restart computer
2. Enter setup screen using delete key
3. Change boot option to make sure that floppy is selected first, also change to 100/100 for stability purposes.
4. Save changes and continue on to windows XP.
5. Go to windows explorer
6. Insert floppy disk
7. Right click on “A” drive
8. Select option to format disk
9. In the dialog box there is an option to create ms-dos start disk, select yes.
10. When completed, remove disk.
11. Create new folder for downloading to.
12. Go to ECS site and select the download links.
13. I downloaded “aminf332” utility and “s5a020429lan” files to new folder.
14. Insert floppy disk.
15. Copy the zipped file “s5a020429lan” to the “A” (floppy) drive.
16. Open it and Make sure that you Extract the file to the “A” floppy drive.
17. When completed you will see “020429L.rom
18. Remove only the zipped file “s5a020429lan” from the floppy.
19. Copy the “aminf332” to the “A” (floppy) drive.
20. Remove the disk and then reinsert, check windows explorer to make sure your files are still there.
21. Close all programs, leave floppy disk in drive and restart.
22. It should boot up to “A” drive
23. Type DIR and enter, you should see all your file names.
24. Next, type aminf332 020429L.ROM , Make sure there is a space between the 2 files. Select enter.
25. It will go thru a series of steps and then tell you it was completed.
26. Remove disk and select enter to continue on. Press delete key to enter the setup menu.
27. Change options as you like or load the optimal ones.
28. It will boot back to windows if everything goes okay.
29. Done.
Problem jest taki ze ja nie mam stacji dyskietek itp. Wiec chcialbym to wykonac z poziomu windows. Korzystam wiec z CMD i jak wpisze polecenie aktualizujace bios dostaje taki komunikat:
"Chipset/Flash part isn't availiable. The function will be invalid"
Dodam tylko ze zdjalem zworke z baterii.
