Concentrating on the Sapphire 9700, the Overclocking outcome is very, very good. The 3.6ns DDR Memory was able to hit 300 MHz, and even at 310 it was still capable of benchmarking, however it was displaying some 3D artifacts. Core speed was able to hit 340 MHz with the stock cooling. With aftermarket cooling these numbers will more than likely go up. However you cannot always expect to be able to achieve the same overclocking results on different cards, so there is no promise that other Sapphire 9700 cards will overclock as well as this one did.
