sprobuj raczej sterownika vesa, i pokaż plik Xorg.0.log

Korzystałem z tej instrukcji

 

Na vesa nie odpala monitor i wraca do trybu tekstowego. A W jaki sposób można zmodyfikować (chodzi mi o komende) ten plik i czy istnieją jakieś standardowe ustawienia na których tryb graficzny powinien działać ??

Ustaw sterownik na "nv" (tak to wygląda u mnie - oczywiście ja mam inną kartę):

W sekcji Monitor wstaw lub zmodyfikuj dwie linie - HorizSync i VertRefresh (przykład u mnie):

Podany przedział jest bardzo szeroki, więc Xserver powinien bez problemu znaleźć jakąś rozdzielczość, w której będzie mógł uruchomić sesję.

W sekcji Screen jest podsekcja Display - zazwyczaj osobna dla kolejnych palet kolorów. DefaultDepth ustaw sobie na 24 i w subsekcji Display z Depth 24 w linijce Modes podajesz żądaną rozdzielczość ekranu.

Mam to samo u siebie. Sposób jest na to taki, że przy instalacji linuxa masz taki panel z wyborem ustawień dla poszczególnych elementów (np. mysz, klawiatura, net, itp.) i tu wchodzisz w zakładke karty graficznej.

Ustawić tu możesz model grafy, monitor, rozdzielczość, głębie i odświeżanie.

U mnie pomogło zmiana rozdzielczości na 800-600 i głebi na 24 albo 16 bit. Po każdej z tych zmian robisz test (jest tam taka opcja). Na teście wychodzi czy obraz jest ok, czy trzeba dalej pokombinować z tymi parametrami. Po instalacji linuxa instalujesz nowe stery do grafy i po ustawieniu rozdzielczości na normalną powinno być ok.
