Avivo Video Converter for Windows Vista (64-bit)

 

This release of Catalyst™ introduces the Avivo Video Converter for the Windows Vista (64 bit) operating system. The Avivo Video Converter is a transcoder tool that provides a quick and easy way of converting videos from one format to another. The Avivo Video Converter found within the Catalyst™ Control Center, allows the user to select the input file, and output format, along with the quality level and file location. The Avivo. Video Converter accepts a wide variety of file formats as a source, and outputs to file formats such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4/DivX, WMA, H.264/AVC and more.

Catalyst Control Center: Color Temperature Control

 

This release of Catalyst™ introduces Color Temperature Control within the Catalyst Control Center, allowing users to adjust the chromatic level shown on their display. Supported on the ATI Radeon™ X1000 Series and Radeon™ HD 2000 Series of products.

Performance Improvements

 

The following performance improvements are noticed with Catalyst™ 7.9:

Far Cry performance improves up to 14 % on the ATI Radeon™ HD2900XT CrossFire™, ATI Radeon™ HD2600XT single card, and ATI Radeon™ HD2400XT CrossFire™ configurations

Call of Duty 2 performance improves as much as 12% with Anti-Aliasing enabled on the ATI Radeon™ HD2600XT CrossFire™ and single card configurations

Half-Life 2: Episode 1 performance improves at most 9% on ATI Radeon™ HD2600XT CrossFire™ and as much as 6% on the ATI Radeon™ HD2400XT CrossFire™ configurations.

Serious Sam 2 performance improves up to 46% on the ATI Radeon™ HD2400XT CrossFire™ and up to 27% on the ATI Radeon™ HD2600XT single card and CrossFire™ configurations with Anti-Aliasing enabled.

Quake 4 performance with Anti-Aliasing improves 9% or more on the ATI Radeon™ X1600/X1650Pro and ATI Radeon™ X1300/X1550 products in both single and CrossFire™ configurations

 

Resolved Issues for the Windows Vista Operating System

Co za problem odinstalować stare omegi i wrzucić nowe Catalki, ja z NGO i "omegów" zrezygnowałem po sprzedaży R9550. Na X1300 specjalnej różnicy nie widziałem, a CCC obecnie jest bardzo stabilny, i zżera trochę mniej pamięci niż wcześniejsze wersje :wink:

No tak, jeśli używasz karty z siga to najlepiej NGO raczej. To, czy są stare dla tego chipsetu nie ma znaczenia. Obecne poprawki mają na celu przyspieszenie nowszych kart, i czasem Radeony typu 9500/9700 będą miały niższą wydajność w stosunku do zastosowania nowych Catalystów. Co do "cudów" CCC - to dzięki dobraniu odpowiedniego "AI" do konkretnej aplikacji widać wzrost wydajności w stosunku do "gołych" driverów. Chyba, że porównujesz do starego Control Panela. Wszystko idzie na przód, i należy się tylko cieszyć że ATI oferuje naprawdę funkcjonalne CCC w stosunku do tego nowego "dziwadła" nvidii.

AI można wygodnie ustawić w ATT, nie trzeba instalować CCC (dla mnie chorego) a dziwadło nvidii to już nie komentuje. Co do nowszych sterów to niby i w 7.4 nie było już nic odnośnie starych Radeonów, a mimo wszystko dały mi przyrost wydajności w stosunku do starszych driverów, więc może i teraz coś się ruszy.

 

EDIT: No ciekawe, jak w mordę mają wpisane wsparcie 9500 a podczas instalacji wywalają brak odpowiedniego sprzętu.

A ściągałeś sterowniki dla Mobility, czy zwykłych Radeonów? Z lapkami jest często tak, że ID producenta lapka może uniemożliwić instalację sterowników od ATi. W takim przypadku wystarczy wgrać sterowniki z poziomu menedżera urządzeń, podając wcześniej odpowiedni *.inf do drivera (aktualizuj sterownik). CCC lub ATT instalujesz później.

heh :/ Mi te nowe catalisty wogole nie ruszaja :| Jesli juz nawet zainstaluje to podczas restartu (zaraz po instalce) gdy powinno sie pojawic okno logowania pojawia sie czarny ekran a po czasie ,ze ati2dvag sie zapętlił i tylko restart :/

Nawet sterowniki omegi robia takie kulki (oparte na tym catalist) Dopiero instalacja wersji rad_w2kxp_omega_38360 działa poprawnie i moge spokojnie działać :/ Zauważyłem różnice pomiędzy tą wersją a tamta rad_w2kxp_omega_38413 otóż sterowniki ,,display" na tej nowszej instalują sie jakoś dosowo i nie potrzeba zatwierdzać zgodności z Microsoftu

to jest tak ze jak sie na ati pobiera mobilne drivery to oni daja do sciagniecia program weryfikujacy - wiec sciagam inne - niby tez mobilne.

 

jak zatem rozpakowac drivery aby wskazac recznie plik .inf ?

Przy każdej instalacji paczki sterownika tworzony jest katalog temp, o nazwie "ATI" - z reguły na dysku systemowym. W tym "rozpakowanym" katalogu znajdziesz inf'a.
