Settings for DRV5@166

Since I had a thread called "Why won't my DRV5 do 166FSB" and I have now got my XP2100+ Tbred b 0250 to run @ 166, I thought I would post my settings for others. I have Crucial PC2100 ram so if you have faster ram you can speed up the ram timings.

 

Jumpers and dip switches;

Ram voltage: Both jumpers set to 1-2 ( this gives me 2.75 volts in MB monitor) My machine won't even post @166 without this setting.

 

FSB dip switches: Set to 166 (needed to enable the /5 divider for PCI speeds.)

 

BIOS Settings

SKEW: My machine is not stable at all without these values being set.

CPU-150

CHIP- 700

PCI- 200

AGP- 200

 

Vcore 1.725 (Your CPU may need more or less)

CPU Speed- Default (uses FSB dip settings)

RAM settings

Command 2T, Normal, Cas 2.5

 

After you have got it up and running @166 you can try increasing FSB in the bios. I had mine up to 170 but it benched lower than 166 so I set it back. I expect that better ram with faster timings would help scores at higher FSB. Hope this helps.

ustawilem na 1,80 bo mam zajebiscie słaby zasilacz i ful w kompie uzadzen jak masz dobra zasiłke to1,75 powinoo wystarczyć z tym ze mój to palominiak AGOIA02155POW magistralka 143 bo na wyższej dysk siadał [szajsung] bo seagate niema problemów...

tzn miali być 1,775 zdaje sie ale niewiem czy to niejest zamało jak na tego smoka :D a chlodzenie ma cool master taki srebrny z miedzią od spodu
