Geometry Wars: Waves - Arcade Game

Bizarre Creations has revealed that Geometry Wars: Waves will be included in the arcade racer.
Speaking to Pro-G at Games Convention 2007, Bizarre Creations has revealed that its upcoming Xbox 360 racer Project Gotham Racing 4 will house a new Geometry Wars game.
Geometry Wars: Waves is to be exclusive to PGR4 and won't be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade - unlike Retro Evolved inside PGR3. There are no details at this time, but we were told that the game is based on Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and is not the true next game in the series fans might have been waiting for.

Te screeny to raczej nie zart, w najnowszym XBOX 360 Magazine (UK) jest cale 6 stron poswiecone tej grze. Sa tam tez te screeny. Dodatkowo smaczku dodaje fakt, ze jak pada deszcz, na ulicach (tam gdzie sa wglebienia) robia sie kaluze, ktore jak w nie wjedziesz spowalniaja Ci samochod i potrafia wprowadzic go w poslizg (nierownomierne przychamowanie). Jesli popadalo, a zrobilo sie zimno, kaluze te zamieniaja sie w lod. :D W samochodach sa dzialajace wycieraczki. Inaczej nic nie bedziesz widzial. :) Wieczorem porobie zdjecia z tego magazynu i wrzuce je. :) Sa tam tez screeny z jazdy w sniegu. :)

We know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from us, so we’re here to get you up to speed (no pun intended) on “Project Gotham Racing 4,” Bizarre Creations’ highly-anticipated sequel to the blockbuster “PGR” racing franchise. Set to drift onto store shelves this fall, there are several new features to get your engines revved up about.

Right from the starting line, Bizarre’s vision for “PGR 4” was to create an emotionally-charged racing experience, where players become attached to their careers, profiles and vehicles. There are several new features that embody this emotional experience, the most significant being the new career mode. Drivers will be rewarded with a growing fanbase that’ll cheer them on, react to their every move and support them through victory. Just imagine hearing the roar of the crowd as you cross the finish line with your own style and flair.

One of the most appealing new gameplay elements is the dynamic weather system. Now racing through a track can mean facing an unexpected rain storm or snow flurries in the middle of a race. This results in changing physics when powering around a corner on the wet or icy surface in Shanghai and St. Petersburg or any of the game’s 10 other locations. So, if you think driving on a dry track is boring…

Weather changes won’t be the only element that brings added excitement and challenge to the game. Flair and driving style will now be just as important as technical skill, as players passing their opponent at full speed will pump their fists and exhibit more emotion as they earn recognition with the revised Kudos system. The Kudos will be worthwhile too, because the new A.I. personalities will be able to perform bold new driving maneuvers as they race side by side with other drivers.

Woda wygląda nieziemsko na samochodzie B-) Otoczenie według mnie jest dużo lepsze niż w FM2. I publiczność lepiej wygląda szkoda tylko ze w niektórych miejscach stoją w rzędzie xD Przewińcie do momentu 1min03sec i zobaczcie jaka ładna kolejka i jak równo stoją ^^

 

A tak małe O/T

Jakość może jutro albo po weekendzie będę miał PGR3 więc może jakiś mały race :P

To jedna z najlepszych wyscigowek arcade jakie widzial swiat.

Grywalnosc jest niesamowita. Wizualnie tez te gry zawsze przewyzszaly wszyskie inne. Juz nawet na dreamcascie metropolis street racer wygladal oblednie jak na tamta epoke.

Microsoft today released the final US boxart for Project Gotham Racing 4, which will be released exclusively for Xbox 360 later this year. We all know that PGR4 will feature tons of great, high-performance cars but there have been some rumors that PGR4 would feature motorcycles as well.

Microsoft nor Bizarre Creations denied or confirmed this rumor but if you look at the PGR4 boxart you can see a motorcycle in the reflection of the car behind the PGR4 logo. Does this mean PGR4 will indeed be featuring motorcycles for the first time ever in the franchise?

We will probably see a lot more of the game at the coming E3, which is finally beginning next week. Maybe Microsoft will show off some motorcycling action!
